MISSION TRIP: Sarawak ____ Part 2

On the second day, we were assigned to join the Iban Youth Camp. I used to think that the youths there are mostly succumbed to social ills but what I saw was seriously very comforting. Yes, they aren't that "raw" but rather, I think God had really used them to be useful tools and servants for Christ:)

So we had breakfast with the team in the morning.
This is called "Ang Jiu Mi Sua" which means red wine noodles.

This is some chinese herbs noodles

This is teh tiga lapis(Three layered tea)
This is currently my favs.
It has tea on the top layer, milk on the second and then Gula Melaka
(A kind of sugar)

So this is the dorm where the guys sleep.

Michel Williams giving a sermon.
He's currently serving in this ministry:)

The youths there and i'm probably somewhere in the middle haha

The main hall where they held the camp

So then this is the game session.
There are more pictures will upload them pretty soon if i manage to get them from one bro form the team:)

Oh ya and they said I was "iban-ised"

Me being like : Whatever

Me with the other youths.
We were having lunch:)
They are one energized bunch!
Selfiesssss

And more wefies

This is (i think) the only half Chinese blood Iban I found. She's Ping.
(I'm sure there's more)
And also I won't forget Aaron Cheong. He's so cute and funny I'm gonna show a picture of him too later cause he's such a nice boy to chat to.
And he speaks awesome Chinese.

And that little boy is called Shawn. And then Chen, Mond,Melvin, Sabastian, Patricia.....
Okay, I admit, I'm bad at names:P

So we had supper with the VIPS.
Especially Bishop Hwa Yung.
And there's Mark, Michel Williams, Uncle Seng Gee and yeah..
Honored but I've learnt a lot from them:)

So here is a wrap of the trip. Will post more pictures soon about the third day as there are not much going on to be frank haha.

Nothing is impossible in God as God has truly blessed Sarawak in a tremendous way with the Christian leaders of the state and allowing impossible things to come true by leading and calling upon those groups who aren't allowed to change their religion to come and know the Lord, not through man but through God alone and His way of revealing to them through visions and dreams.

Did i mention that their theme was "Garam Enggau Penampak"
Meaning "Salt and Light"

As Christians, we need to believe that if God calls you, He will open and make way for you, giving you wisdom and strength, to know what to say and do when the time comes for you to be witnesses for Him before the rulers and authorities and the congregation that are of different cultures and religion. Don't be afraid and remember that all who loses his life for the sake of Christ's will save it.

So again, don't focus on the world as they can't satisfy your inner thrist:)
There are more important and meaningful things out there that you can make your life worth to live:)
Fix your eyes on Jesus! Respond to His Great Commission. Go and make disciples of all Nations!
Shalom.

Love Lots,
Nicoleeeee:)
