Mother's Day Dinner at Aster Garden Steamboat, Bukit Tinggi 2, Klang

08.05.16

Mother's Day Celebration!

Not with my own mom but my grandma and Aunt
instead this year.

Yes,
I visited my grandma in Klang this week just because
I only have three weeks left till I enter Matriculation Perlis.

Simply came here to spend time with my relatives,
mainly my grandma.

Sometimes, it does get boring or topicless,
but hey,
You don't get to do it all the time,
and so, just try to talk to her even when you think she
doesn't understands.

Well, but if its something about relationships then,
I can tell you, you guys will be on the same page.

This place is decorated with absolutely Pinterest worthy pictures and canvas.
They sell all sorts of different steamboat soup,
For what I was in awe

1. Milk Steamboat
2. Pumpkin Soup Steamboat

The view of the vintage and cottage style restaurant.

As you can see, they also have
Tom yam, Chinese herbs, chicken soup and clear soup steamboat

They do have other side dishes and fried finger lickin' food.
You get to choose your own fav ingredients to add in your steamboat too
or maybe just order the set.

Coz I was too bored haha.
Nah.

Don't judge but I do love these mugs

Chinese Herbs Tea
In an “ANGMO" mug
haha

Varieties of Sauces

Refill your soup

Fried Tasties.
Finger lickin' GREAT

I think that's the spinach noodle.

This is the
PUMPKIN SOUP
or shall I say
PUMPKIN STEAMBOAT?

Yes this is quite interesting and nice!

Tomyam Soup.

The ingredients that came with the set.

There's not just these but I only managed to take these pictures coz
I was way absorbed in the moment already

Ladies Talk?
Great time for All the Mamas on the table!

Volunteering Experience at Penang Adventist Hospital : Bakery (Part 2)

April 2016

Don't forget to check out
the procedures and introduction
From the Label's section:)

Department:
Bakery Packing Department.

 This is part two.
So what do we do in the packing department?
Weigh, Measure, Pack, Label, Seal, Count Stocks...etc

Even the customers think we are actual workers there
coz the job we do is indeed
very significant
haha.

But in whatever you do,
big or small,
this experience reminds me that I'm doing it for the Lord.

Weighing Skim Milk!

You have to put it in gently and carefully.
Each scoop is so crucial because the amount is usually just right.

Labelling.
And sticking the price tag.
It felt like I was working in the factory for a moment
but it was all cool and it was an awesome experience.

First time using this price label gun thingie.
(I don't know the actual name my pardon *LOL*)

Tadaa.
It feels like using the gigantic stapler we use in school
to keep the notice on the notice board but just a little lighter
and easier to control.
I feel like a pro using it
#perasan
(Means "Thinking I am/can" )

Sealing.
And as you can see that's the vest we wear as volunteers.

This is the machine to pack
CHIA SEEDS/FLAX SEEDS
or anything that is hard to measure.

The aunty in-charge allowed me to pack the chia seeds and it was pretty cool.
First,
You hold the plastic in place on the output nozzle.
Then,
Step on the computerized Peddle and
Wallaa!!
The seeds will fill in the bag according to the amount you have set.

Sealing Oat Brans

Before it was sealed.

I didn't get to use this weighing scale haha.
And can you see those plastics on the side?
They are actually Labels for the products.

More plastics for the products.

Oh ya.
Did I mentioned that we also had to Arrange Stocks?
Yes we do and its kind of boring but again.
Great Experience.

That's a wrap on the bakery experience.
Do check out the
